We were thrilled to be apart of Charleston Water Keeper’™s 5th annual Water Ball. The philanthropic event raises money and awareness to fulfill the Water Keeper’™s mission to protect and restore local waterways, ensuring the public’™s right to clean, local water for drinking and recreation.

Executive Chef Todd Mazurek joined forces with the likes of Graham Dailey of the Peninsula Grill and Stuart Tracy of Butcher & Bee to prepare food inspired by Charleston’™s waterways. Our speciality light and refreshing hors d’oeuvres ranged from sweet and salty bites such as local strawberry canapé with feta and foraged yarrow, to a PB&J-inspired foie gras mousse with our housemade apricot jam and cashew butter on toast. Guests also enjoyed Clammer Dave’™s Littleneck Oreganata, which are miniature clams on a half shell topped with savory bread crumbs, garlic, lemon, and parmesan.

The night got off to a romantic start as a jazz ensemble performed during the sunset over Charleston harbor. The ideal location overlooking the Ravenel bridge made for a formal affair with low country style.
