Executive Chef Todd Mazurek brings his restaurant experience to the catering world. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Mazurek trained under several local chefs before embarking on his own adventure. With a style uniquely his own, Chef Todd continues to wow guests with his culinary creations. Bold, adventurous cuisine highlighted by the freshest ingredients is a hallmark of his craftsmanship.

Tanya Gurrieri drives the company forward through sales, marketing and relationships. She is a native Charlestonian who takes food very seriously. Her event experience ranges from million dollar fundraisers to intimate private dinners and parties of all sizes in between. Growing up and then developing a strong career within the community brings her a familiarity with the local history, traditions and the people who make Charleston so special.

  1. WHAT DOES YOUR SERVICE INCLUDE?

    AS A FULL SERVICE CATERER, ALLOW SALTHOUSE TO CREATE A MENU TO MEET YOUR EVENT NEEDS, TASTES AND BUDGETARY GUIDELINES. FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE, RENTALS, LOGISTICAL COORDINATION, SITE INSPECTIONS, FLOOR PLANS AND TIME LINES ARE JUST A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE HANDLE TO MAKE YOUR PLANNING EASY. WE CAN RECOMMEND VENUES AND VENDORS TO BRING YOUR TEAM TOGETHER FOR A SMOOTH, SUCCESSFUL EVENT DAY.

  2. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO CATER A PARTY?

    WE'RE HAPPY TO HELP CREATE AN ESTIMATE OF COSTS TO ASSIST WITH YOUR PLANNING. MENU PRICING RANGES DEPENDING ON YOUR SELECTIONS AS DO BEVERAGE AND BAR PACKAGES. SERVICE OR LABOR AND RENTALS ARE ALSO INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL EVENT PRICE. GENERALLY SPEAKING, DINNER OR HORS D'OEUVRES MENUS START AROUND $25-30 PER PERSON AND BAR PACKAGES START AS LOW AS $9 PER PERSON. ONCE YOU ADD RENTALS, SERVICE, SET UP AND OTHER NEEDS, THE TOTAL PER PERSON INCLUSIVE PRICE STARTS AROUND $45 PER GUEST.

  3. CAN YOU HANDLE OUR BAR OR BEVERAGE NEEDS?

    ABSOLUTELY. WE'RE FULLY LICENSED AND INSURED TO HANDLE YOUR BAR NEEDS TO INCLUDE JUST BEER AND WINE OR FULL BAR SELECTIONS WITH SPECIALTY COCKTAILS. BARTENDERS ARE TIPS TRAINED AND HANDLE ALL SET UP FROM START TO FINISH.

  4. WHAT ABOUT RENTALS?

    WE WORK WITH LOCAL PROVIDERS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR RENTAL NEEDS. FROM TABLES, CHAIRS AND LINENS TO CHINA, FLATWARE AND GLASSWARE - WE COORDINATE IT ALL BASED ON THE NEEDS OF YOUR EVENT. NEED A TENT, DANCE FLOOR, STAGING, LIGHTING OR LOUNGE SEATING? WE CAN HANDLE THAT TOO!

  5. WHAT IF I NEED OTHER SERVICES?

    SALTHOUSE KNOWS OUR LOCAL VENDORS AND RECOMMENDS ONLY THE FINEST. WHETHER YOU NEED PHOTOGRAPHY, FLOWERS, CAKES, MUSIC OR A WEDDING PLANNER, WE CAN GIVE YOU A LIST TO MAKE YOUR PLANNING SMOOTH.

  6. CAN I DO A TASTING?

    ONCE YOU HAVE A PROPOSED MENU WITH US AND WE HAVE AGREED THAT IT'S A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR NEEDS AND SALTHOUSE TO WORK TOGETHER, WE ARE HAPPY TO EXECUTE A TASTING FOR YOU. WHILE WE DO HAVE SOME RULES IN PLACE FOR DAYS, TIMES, NUMBER OF GUESTS AND MENU ITEMS, WE WANT YOU TO HAVE THE CONFIDENCE THAT OUR FOOD WILL WOW YOUR GUESTS. WE CHARGE $25 PER PERSON FOR TASTINGS WITHOUT A CONTRACT IN PLACE. IF YOU BOOK OUR SERVICES, THAT FEE GOES TOWARDS THE TOTAL BILL.

  7. WHAT DO THE SERVERS WEAR?

    OUR WELL TRAINED STAFF IS IN ALL BLACK WITH LONG BISTRO APRONS. WE WANT THEM TO BLEND IN AND LOOK POLISHED AND PROFESSIONAL.

  8. HOW DO I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

    BY CALLING OR EMAILING TANYA TO GET STARTED WITH YOUR PLANNING TODAY. ONCE THERE IS A PROPOSED MENU IN PLACE AND YOU WANT TO CONFIRM OUR SERVICES, WE'LL SEND YOU A BOOKING AGREEMENT THAT IS RETURNED WITH DEPOSIT TO BOOK YOUR EVENT. PLANNING PROGRESSES FROM THERE AND WE'RE WITH YOU FOR EACH STEP UNTIL THE PARTY IS OVER AND FOLLOW UP COMPLETED.

  9. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

    CASH OR CHECKS ARE PREFERRED. MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED WITH A 2% FEE FOR PROCESSING.
